You may have short-term numbness, bruising, or swelling under your chin, but this shouldn't last longer than a few days. How much does KYBELLA cost?
KYBELLA treatment costs will depend on how many treatments are needed. During your consultation, a personalized treatment plan will be created to fit your goals. A member of our staff can also review payment options with you during your first appointment.
How does KYBELLA work?
The active ingredient in KYBELLA, deoxycholic acid, works to break down fat cells in the upper neck. Once they are destroyed, these cells cannot regenerate. Therefore, additional treatments should not be necessary as soon as you have met your goal.
Can KYBELLA be used to treat other areas of the body?
Currently, KYBELLA may only be used to treat the upper neck. KYBELLA can effectively minimize the appearance of a double chin. KYBELLA hasn't been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use on any other areas of the body.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
During your initial consultation, a personalized treatment plan will be developed to meet your needs and goals. Usually, patients receive between 2 – 4 KYBELLA injections to achieve their goals. KYBELLA treatments must also be spaced around 30 days apart. You shouldn't receive more than six treatments.
