What Should I Expect During A CoolSculpting Elite Treatment?
After an initial consultation to organize your treatment plan, we'll schedule your first session. At your appointment, a specialized gel pad and the CoolSculpting handpiece will be applied to the desired area. The cooling process, delivered through the handpiece, will begin to target and freeze unwanted fat cells. You will likely experience a cooling sensation on your skin, but this typically does not cause pain. The applicator uses suction to pull the targeted fat cells into the area to be treated so you will feel a slight tugging or stinging, but these are normal sensations.
CoolSculpting is noninvasive so you should be able to return to your normal routine immediately after your session. Side effects can include bruising, stinging, redness, swelling, and soreness in the treated areas. These side effects are temporary and typically fade within days after your procedure. You should expect to see less fat within three weeks with the most impressive results appearing 1 – 3 months following your procedure.
